2 teasp. instant coffee 1/3 cup hot water 1 3/4 cups finely crushed packaged vanilla wafers (about 3 doz.) 1/2 cup sifted confectioners' sugar. In double boiler over hot, not boiling, water, melt chocolate; remove from heat. Mix in syrup, 3 cups sugar, nuts, coffee dissolved in hot water, wafer crumbs. Form into 1" balls. Roll in 1/2 cup sugar.
